Lao’s original gangstaz, L.O.G. shattered the mould for what Lao music could be by sampling traditional Lao instruments alongside expertly produced hip-hop beats. The first Lao act to garner international attention, L.O.G. have performed alongside artists from Thailand, New Zealand, Australia and the USA. After the release of Hip Hop Flava in Thailand their music was used in the controversial film Thai film ‘Mak Tae’, which was banned after nearly causing an international incident.
